"...there is nothing more destructive of the human psyche than to be forced to doubt the veracity of what one's own elementary observations demonstrate, simply because they conflict with a prevailing and unassailable orthodoxy." Dr. Theodore Dalrymple
Same question as Maggie, and a hope that if you are hanging up your blogger hat for a while that it is because your life is so full of LIFE that you just can't squeeze it in. You know I pray for you and yours, and I'll be keeping that up whether you're writing here or not. You're one of my two favorite people in South Dakota!! I'd love to hear from you some time, so pop me an email now and then if you're so inclined. :-)
So sorry you're leaving! I'll miss you. I'm Julie's sister, and I found your blog through hers. I've enjoyed your sense of humor and your pictures. Good luck! By the way, I didn't finish my Ph.D. until I was 40. I went back when I was ready, and it made all the difference. (Now Julie will yell at me for just lurking and not commenting until now).
I will miss you (I know I haven't been around much lately -- that's an understatement!). I will keep you on my reader, so just in case you post I won't miss it.
I am with Kat -- I hope that life is just too full of great stuff for blogging!
This was for my post titled "A Bit of Bio" - I'm way too computer illiterate to link to it from here. You see the search box up there, right? Knock yourself out!
9 people spoke up:
Um, I hope you are OK and that you are not un-blogging. Are you OK?

Say it ain't so!
I'm a little worried. Are you coming back? What would we do without that awesome sense of humor that pulled us here in the first place?
