These really look much better if you click for the larger version. The rest of the bull is behind the hill - we grow 'em big in South Dakota.

There's no way there's a brick oven back there.

THIS.....IS.....SPARTA!!!!

Perhaps the creepiest grain silo in all of Wisconsin.

Oh look - Chicago!

Oh great - Chicago traffic.

A frustrated driver.

Yep, this messes up the whole trip schedule. ;)

He may be a frustrated driver, but he's a cutie pie. :)
Those are fantastic photos and your captions make them even better!
LOVE the pizza truck!!!
Doesnt traffic just SUCK!!!!!!!
Fun pictures. Brings back memories of driving from Detroit to Des Moines every summer of my childhood. Good times with Mom, Dad, two brothers, the cat, the dog, and a load of luggage - all in a 1972 Dodge Duster for the 12 hour drive. 15 hours if we drove through Chicago during rush hour! Tell your driver I feel his pain!
Great Shots!! Love the Sparta one!!
Great photos and the captions make em fun!!
Love the LARGE bull!! :P
That is a really big bull...wow. Even a Texan is impressed...haha.
That pic near the Sparta sign made me laugh out loud! Speaking of 'big things', did you see the company in Sparta, WI that makes huge fiberglass animals? Their entire frontage along the road is filled with them! I always mean to take pics of them while I'm out there and either don't have the time or forget. The bike trails out there are beautiful, too!
I love the creepy silo shot.
All great winners~my fave is the grain silo one :)
Really nice pictures this week. I was impressed with the bull.
Man, that bull is big!
Great photos. I love the stories behind them.
Looks like you are still having fun. That's good stuff. :)
Great pictures. I love your sense of humor. You make me laugh every time!
I think the grain silo should have been topped with a giant loaf of bread instead of a pumpkin, but I suppose that wouldn't be nearly as fun come Halloween. My favorite is the bull. Made me think South Dakota must be somewhere in Egypt. Glad to see you have kept your sense of humor, even if the traffic did stink in Chicago. :-)
